FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of glass fiber threads by sintering, in particular to production of microchannel plates with monolithic framing, and can be used in electronic-optical converters. Method includes assembling multifilamentary light guides into a unit and sintering at temperature of 580–600 °C for 0.5–1.0 h with simultaneous all-round reduction of the unit with external pressure message while heating the all-glass framing on the basis of lead-silicate lead, with subsequent annealing of sintered unit at temperature of 475–485 °C for 3.5–4.5 hours and cooling to 360–380 °C with speed less than 0.5 °C per minute, and to ambient temperature – in inertial mode. Sintering is carried out simultaneously in one chamber of at least two units at external pressure (9–11)⋅105 Pa.

EFFECT: technical result is increase of yield percentage, increase in efficiency and reduction of rejects along soldering junctions of micro-channel honeycombs.
