FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: powered support has two sections with conveyers mounted one on another. Each lower section 4 has base 21, guard 22 hinged to conveyer 6 by means of travel hydraulic cylinders 5. Each section 1 has lower part of guard 13 mounted on top of charging part of ceiling of lower part of section 4. Hydraulic props of upper section 31 are hinged to upper planes of ceilings 7 of lower sections 4, hydraulic props 20 of lower sections are anchored on base 21. Ceilings 7 of lower sections have extending parts. Upper and lower parts of guards of each section are connected with tie-rods, hydraulic cylinders 16, guides 17. Guides 17 can travel in upper parts of guards with the use of coupling axles 18 and conveyer 3 is mounted for movement over ceilings 7 of lower sections and is hinged to them with the help of other ends of travel hydraulic cylinders 2. Lower part of guard 13 can be tied up with ceiling 7 of lower section 4 with the aid of hydraulic cylinder. Ceiling of lower section can be fabricated with controlled extensible part. Ceiling of lower section can be manufactured with gates, one of them being controllable. Ceiling of lower section can have extensible supports mounted for interaction with ceilings of adjacent lower sections. Upper section 1 can be fabricated with bigger extension than that of lower section. Hydraulic props of lower sections can have bigger resistances than that of upper hydraulic props.
