FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: wear-resistant cast iron containing carbon, silicon, manganese, chrome and aluminium has additionally calcium, cerium and barium at the following ratio of components, wt. -% : C 3.2-4; Si 1.2-2; Mn 8.2- 12; Cr 3-6; Al 0.4-1.2; Ca 0.01-0.05; Ce 0.01-0.04; Ba 0.005-0.015, and Fe - the rest. Structure of cast iron in the cast state shows austenite metallic base and carbides of type (Fe,Mn)3C and (Fe, Cr)3C. EFFECT: enhanced impact elasticity and impact-abrasive wear-resistance, prolonged period of exploitation of articles made of proposed cast iron. 1 tbl
