FIELD: well logging. SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting acoustic and gamma-gamma logging in the well under test, determining from the logging results obtained the coefficient of rock compressibility for each of two values of density of flushing fluid pumped in the well. The density is increased by 15-20% depending on the depth of the well and the permissible value of rock collapsing hydraulic pressure. The coefficient of rock porosity is calculated taking into account the rock compressibility coefficient values obtained in two measurements, the coefficient of compressibility of a block (matrix) and the change in density of flushing fluid before the second test. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, more accurate results.
