FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes determining optically induced potentials in response to staggered reversing stimuli and reduction of size from 2 to 1 minute of arc, discriminating stimulus to which corresponds maximum amplitude of the second basic positive component of optically induced potential, determining maximum frequency of reproduction of reversion conditions, carrying out stimulation beginning with stimulus which is superior to discriminated stimulus by 10 to 15 minutes of arc and whose frequency exceeds threshold one by 5 to 10 Hz, gradually reducing stimulus arc size to final size that exceeds threshold one by one stage, and eventually stimulation of twin sound eye. EFFECT: effective treatment of disorders in optico-nervous system.
