FIELD: hoisting devices. SUBSTANCE: air hoist has hollow housing, tubular guide, source for pressure feed of working medium, drive drum with flexible traction member and load platform with rollers. Tubular guide is connected with housing. Source for pressure feed of working medium communicates with inner space of housing. Drive drum is mounted inside housing. One end of traction member is secured on drum. Load platform is mounted movably inside tubular guide. Rollers are adopted to be engaged with load platform moving device, which is made in the form of tore. Traction member is made in the form of two flexible ties. Each flexible tie is passed in succession through central hole of tore and over its outer surface. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 1 dwg
