FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: cast iron containing carbon, silicon, manganese, aluminium, chrome, nickel, iron has additionally molybdenum and vanadium at the following ratio of components, wt. -% : carbon 3.0-3.6; silicon 2.8-3.4; manganese 2.2-3.2; aluminium 0.1-0.2; chrome 3.4-4.5; nickel 1.5-2.2; molybdenum 0.2-0.3; vanadium 0.5-0.7, and iron - the rest. Addition of Mo and V provides to enhance thermal stability and scale resistance. Cast iron is used for metallurgic equipment making. EFFECT: enhanced quality of cast iron. 1 tbl
