FIELD: check-up of dielectric material microwave parameters. SUBSTANCE: device has below-cutoff waveguide section accommodating composite insert resonant at working frequency which is composed of dielectric specimen under check and two movable dielectric components. The latter are provided with stepped ridges. Clearance between protruding parts of dielectric components is selected to ensure frequency correction in measuring cell at change in width of specimen under check. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
