SUBSTANCE: measured parameters can also be continuity of the gas-liquid stream, the concentration of the bulk material particles in the conduit and others. The proposed sensor of the physical substance properties, operably associated with its electro physical properties and including density, moisture content, substance mixture concentration, concentration of the bulk material particles, comprises a sensitive element in the form of a cavity filled with the controlled substance and being a segment of the circular waveguide with the end reflectors of electromagnetic waves, to which a coupling element is connected, wherein the cavity waveguide comprises a metal plate located along the waveguide and connected perpendicular to its inner surface, with the length equal to the waveguide length, and the plate width is less than the waveguide diameter. The reflector end of electromagnetic waves is made at the first waveguide end in the form of a segment of the metal pipeline with the same diameter, inside of which an additional metal plate is installed, in the same plane as the waveguide plate, of the width equal to the pipeline diameter, and is connected to the waveguide plate in the area of their contact, and the reflector end of electromagnetic waves is made at the second waveguide end in the form of a metal plate identical to that made at the first waveguide end with the supplementary metal plate.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality, the proposed sensor has a wide range of applications, providing the possibility to measure the physical substance properties both moving through the pipeline and staying in the reservoir.
