METHOD OF CONNECTION OF SUBSCRIBER'S DEVICES IN SWITCHING SERVICE AND GEAR FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electric communication. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and gear are intended for telephone services of common usage. Method is based on interconnection of subscriber's devices in switching service under automatic mode of connection as well as on telephone set coupled to one subscriber's number. After transmission of number of called subscriber from calling subscriber's device or telephone set over established connection call signal follows with time delay during which called subscriber is identified ( called subscriber's device ). Identification of subscriber's device is performed by additional selection signal transmitted from calling side to called one at moment of establishment of connection between them. Gear for implementation of method presents proposed subscriber's switching plant connected to subscriber's line, subscriber's device or telephone set to provide for their interaction with called subscribers.
