FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: remote controlled equipment performs subscriber-determined control functions realised by customised firmware. The firmware developer becomes the manufacturer of the equipment, wherein design requirements for that firmware are standard. The distinguishing feature is integration of three components: communication equipment, remote controlled equipment and functions for controlling said equipment from a universal panel, a cellular telephone, a computer or other control panels, equipped with properties for interfacing through a standard memory card designed by the manufacturer of the controlled equipment. Another distinguishing feature is delegating to the manufacturer of the remote controlled equipment preparation and launching of the electronic data medium in form of memory cards and sending it to the user together with the equipment for realising functions for controlling said equipment. To realise the control function, a user displays a table from the memory card on a display screen, said table being personal for each type of equipment and containing a set of touch-sensitive displayed control functions for each equipment. The subscriber becomes the user of their own and manufactured equipment. The remote controlled equipment relates to industrial, home and equipment for other purposes. Subscribers relate to public switched communication networks, non-switched and other communication networks in analogue or digital information transmission form.
