SUCTION-TUBE DREDGE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: suction-tube dredge has two articulated pontoons. Pontoon accommodates suction dredge pump and wash-out pump. The latter is connected by water conduit to hydropulper in the form of two tubular headers with nozzles. Rear part of the pontoon has water suction chamber with replaceable fish fencing grates and water-intake pipe. Suction pipe is connected to dredge pump by flexible hose. The pipe is moved vertically by crane. Displacement mechanism of the dredge has rotating platform with pull rope. Water propulsion apparatus includes water-jet motor, anchor connected by rope with winch, and frame. The frame has two articulated links. The platform is mounted on base by means of support rollers and central shaft. The base is attached to the body of dredge by brackets. EFFECT: higher dredging efficiency. 4 cl, 8 dwg
