FIELD: water heaters. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical casing with interior sealingly closed by cover plate has electrical heating elements in the form of concentric shells mounted on tank bottom. Each shell of the cover plate is located between adjacent shells of casing. Central shell extends through the bottom of casing to the outside. Its end has threaded portion to connect T-piece. Heating elements are coated outside with at least two layers of fiberglass. At least one layer of thermally resistant current-conducting compound with negative temperature coefficient is provided between the two layers of fiberglass. This layer is wired to electrical network. Layer of fiberglass insulates the current-conducting layer from water. Tank bottom has lugs, whereas top part of the bottom has pivotable rod. Fork-shaped bolts are connected to free end of rod. The bolts can be embedded in wall for mounting the column. EFFECT: simplified installation, increased reliability. 3 cl
