FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has primary measuring converter in form of section of two-wire transmission line, i. e. in form of asymmetric strip line. One of the electrodes has variable width along the line; it is calculated from given relation. The second electrode has length, being equal to the length of transmission line; its width is no less than maximal width of the first electrode. Dielectric material is introduced between the electrodes, which has dielectric permeability higher, than permeability of environment. Converter is turned with its larger width of the electrode to electromagnet pulse source and is connected with registrar by means of matched communication line. Converter from side of the first electrode is put under load of match resistor. EFFECT: improved precision. 2 dwg
