FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has electron bunch generator with active conductance of electron flow, evacuated vessel being placed on the path of this flow for transit of electron bunches; focusing magnetic components; and collector. Vessel accommodates unit for converting bunch energy into electromagnetic field energy conveyed to load through matched transmitting line in the form of strip line. Unit is built up of two parallel flat electrodes perpendicular to direction of bunch motion which form initial section of strip line. Butt end of each electrode is rounded off at radius equal to half the width of electrode with center located on axis of bunches. Calculated proportion between wave impedance of line and active conductance of bunch is given in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of device. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
