FIELD: power supplies. SUBSTANCE: control circuit 5 of pulse power stage is fed from voltage drop in starting resistor 6, the voltage drop is formed due to charge pulse currents of filtering capacitor 11. Value of supply voltage of control circuit 5 is equal to amplitude of voltage pulses in resistor 6. Stabilizing diode 13 is used for protecting capacitor 7 against pulse overvoltage, which is generated in the moment of starting of the converter, when primary voltage is connected.
