TRANSFORMERLESS VOLTAGE CONVERTER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2011276 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: the device uses capacitors 13 and 14 for reduction of high voltage down to the supply voltage of control circuit 8. Capacitors 13 and 14 are charged and discharged via charge (11 and 15) and discharge (12 and 16) diodes. The advantage of the device is the prevention of loss of active power at a reduction of voltage by dropping resistors, in the given case - by reactances (capacitances). Two operating conditions of voltage drop are possible - half-wave and full-wave ones. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 cl, 3 dwg
