FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes bilaterally subcutaneously and intravenously administering colloid 99mTc by four equal portions in two symmetrical points extending at distance of 3 cm to the right and left from body center line with respect to arbitrary horizontal line disposed at equal distance between xiphoid process of breast bone and umbilicus, carrying out scintigraphy after elapse of 120 to 180 min, and determining pathway of lymphogenous metastatic spreading after noticing accumulation of above said preparation in one or several projections corresponding to organs of abdominal cavity, small pelvis, and retroperitoneal and inguinal lymph nodes. EFFECT: possibility of prognosticating remote metastatic spreading of carcinoma of mammary gland and timely changing tactics of treatment.
