FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method of correcting adaptation capabilities of neonates suffering from retarded intrauterine development prescribes additionally administering thyreoiodin along with using traditional treatment complex including vitamins, eubiotics, glucose, and preparations ameliorating trophicity of cerebrum. Disclosed method may find application in neonate pathology departments and departments of the second phase of taking care of premature neonates. EFFECT: greater curative effect; time required for taking care of premature neonates under hospital conditions reduced by 15 per cent. 2 tbl
