FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: sludge is separated from filtrate and subjected to pressing out by means of evacuating the underlayer space which is periodically supplied with an inert gas. When pressing out is completed evacuating the underlayer space is stopped and then a vacuum is drawn in the overlayer space with filtrate being simultaneously heated.
