FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: indicator gases are injected at various depths, gradually moving from surface to mined-out space. Trajectory of leak routes is plotted on points where indicator gases emerge into near-surface layer after they have been injected at various depths. An additional hole is drilled into a farthermost anomaly of indicator gas and plotting of leak pattern is continued. Operations are discontinued when indicator gas emerges into operating workings. Then a line perpendicular to the direction of air leaks is plotted through the hole for initial injection of indicator gas and this line is used for drilling next holes for injection of indicator gases. These holes are used to produce a complete picture of movement of air leaks through the mined-out space. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
