FIELD: SHF cavity resonators. SUBSTANCE: open resonator of surface wave has periodic decelerating system in the form of flat comb with rectangular cross-section of grooves and output device. Periodic decelerating system is composed of replicated groups of grooves, each having depth h′ within 1.3h<h′<2h, where h is depth of rest of grooves of groups. All grooves have identical width. Ends of periodic decelerating system terminate in matched load. Number of grooves in groups equals five. Length 1 and width a of periodic decelerating system lies within 3λ<l<4λ 0.5λ<a<λ, where l is length of wave medium within range. Output device is fabricated in the form of rectangular horn.
