FIELD: microwave engineering, generation and conversion of microwave oscillations by semiconductor diodes, frequency stabilization, forming of radiation pattern in a unified open resonance radiating system. SUBSTANCE: the open radiating system has two reflectors, whose rectangular apertures receive a planar dielectric waveguide with a periodic structure positioned near it, and two semiconductor diodes placed on the side of the cambered part of the reflectors. The reflectors may be made in the form of a segment of a circular cylinder, the end faces of the planar dielectric waveguide - in the form of a two-dimensional phase-correcting lens, and the periodic structure - in the form of a reflection grating, band grating on the surface of the dielectric waveguide with a metal backing, double grating formed by the band and reflection gratings.
