FIELD: rolled stock production, namely four-high working stand for rolling metallic sheets. SUBSTANCE: working stand of rolling mill includes rolling and backup rolls with chocks provided with lining straps and apparatuses for horizontally spacing said stand. Said apparatuses are arranged at one side of stand axis between chocks of rolling rolls and housings of stand and being in the form of high-pressure hydraulic chambers (bellows) including elastic toroidal envelope fluid-tightly closed by means of outer and inner plates. Said bellows are arranged in seats of lateral surfaces of chocks. Inner plate of bellows is mounted on bottom of said seat. Wear resistant protective strap is secured to outer plate by means of bayonet-type bolt-free joint assembly. Said protective strap engages with reciprocal strap of housing. Strap of outer plate is provided with through opening into which head of threaded stopper is embedded. Said stopper is screwed in to outer plate. Toroidal envelope of bellows is embraced by cylindrical casing with inner guiding land engaging by running fit with end cylindrical surface of outer plate. Said casing has flange near its base. Said flange is secured by means of bolts to inner plate. Said apparatus for horizontal spacing is closed outside by means of chock lining strap having opening for said casing. Said chock has on its lateral surface slit inclined relative to its horizontal axis and joined with seat. Said seat supports receiving branch pipe of quick-release joint and union for supplying working liquid to bellows. EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled metal, high reliability of rolling stand equipment, enhanced efficiency of rolling mill and lowered operational costs. 6 dwg
