FIELD: electrode production. SUBSTANCE: method includes steps of mixing polypropylene with a conducting filler; extrusion of the resulting composition; extrudate crushing; dosing; particles charging in a press mold in two layers with a brass gauze between the layer; thermostatic control; molding; and cooling. A thermal stabilization agent, a lubricant, and metal manganese powder having particle size less than 125 microns are added to the conductive filler before mixing with polypropylene in the proportion of (in % by polypropylene mass): 0.3-1.0; 0.5-1.0; 2.5-5.0, respectively. The resulting mixture is introduced in the molten polypropylene and homogenized for 4-10 minutes. EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process. 1 tbl
