FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: tool is cooled to 80-150 C during hardening. Its heating to 600-640 C is carried out after partially austenite transformation. If cooling is carried out to 80-110 C then tempering is carried out at 600-620 C; if cooling to 110-150 C takes place then tempering is carried out at 620-640 C.
