FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for conversion of air flux into mechanical work has rectangular blades set for movement over horizontal crankshaft 1. Each end of it carrier 3 hinged to blade 2 with the aid of shackle 4 which length equals radius of crankshaft throw. Radius of crankshaft throw is equal to 1/4 of width of blade 2. Crankshaft 1 and carrier 3 are coupled to transmission shaft 5 with the use of closed chains 7 via sprockets 6 with transmission ratio 1:2. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and efficiency. 2 dwg
