FIELD: drying of wood. SUBSTANCE: piece timber materials are placed into solid heat carrier (river sand, common salt) and, heating them to 170± 10 C, hold them at this temperature for 8-12 min per 1 mm of thickness of material being dried. Softwood timber is held for 8-10 min per 1 mm of thickness while hardwood timber, for 10-12 min per 1 mm of thickness. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl
