SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making pH of copper-ammonia solutions, being processed, equal to 8.2-8.8; subsequent heating of the solutions up to 75-90 C; treating them by alkali till achieving pH value, equal to 12.5-13.5, at agitation; performing the above mentioned heating process up to 75-90 C by bubbling steam or air through the solutions. In preferred variant of the invention, when the solutions had been heated up to 75-90 C, introducing to the solution powdered copper oxide. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of metal recovery. 3 cl, 1 tbl
