FIELD: production of chemical fibers. SUBSTANCE: initial cellulose fiber is impregnated with aqueous solution containing, %: ammonium hydro-ortho-phosphate 5-10; ammonium chloride 3-12, and sodium chloride 1-7. The content of this catalyst on fiber is 15-30%. Fiber is dried and thermally treated. Before drying fiber can be kept at 80-100 C for 15-60 min at relative humidity 100% in atmosphere forming at heating of impregnated fiber. EFFECT: improved method of fibrous material making. 1 tbl
