FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: flow interrupter in the form of a normally open valve which seat is stationary positioned relative to a body is positioned in the body. A shutoff device is connected to the seat by a flexible member and is located for movement along the flow and deformation of the flexible member. The shutoff device is made in the form a rod with a shutoff member on the end of the seat, radial bearing projections around the opposite end variable flaps hinged on the rod ahead of the projections, the rod is mounted in guides. The flaps are interconnected by flexible link and are positioned for turning across the flow, increase in the cross section area of the shutoff device when turning and adjustment to the bearing projections when the pressure in the flow ahead of the rod increases above the specified level. EFFECT: improved structure. 5 cl, 3 dwg
