FIELD: consumer goods; cultural and general goods. SUBSTANCE: method for forming a 3D body consists in forming the 3D body of three similar monolith cubes. Two similar monolith cubes form two cores in the form of cubes, with each such cube having its apexes removed up to the middle of each edge. The third cube is separated into eight little cubes. Each of little cubes is then separated into four triangular pyramids and a tetrahedron. The removed apexes and triangular pyramids are attached to the core faces having the form of reduced squares in sets of four. The apparatus for forming a 3D body has a core made in the form of a cube having its apexes removed up to the middle of each edge and twenty four triangular pyramids.
