FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; gas-salt refining and modification of aluminum alloys. SUBSTANCE: blow-through, refining and modification by introducing flux in the molten metal are performed simultaneously. The device of the invention has a rotor provided with radial ribs; an additional container (a bell) to hold flux; and immobile plates disposed around the rotor radially with respect to its rotation axis . The rotor is secured on the end portion of a driving shaft; its disk may be made solid. The flux container is disposed under the rotor. The container having a portion of flux and the rotor are immersed in molten metal; the rotor is brought in motion; and the blow- through gas is supplied. The gas bubbles and the molten flux are distributed evenly through the metal volume owing to the centrifugal flow of metal created by the rotor.
