FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method involves obtaining strip by freezing it onto roll; sealing surfaces and vacuumizing bulk refractory material to secure it on roll surface; providing local depressurization of surface and cooling refractory material by filtering cooling gas through refractory material, with nitrogen being used as cooling gas. Nitrogen is supplied onto depressurized surface of lining layer and released through perforated rim. Local depressurization of bulk refractory material is effectuated on surface, whose angle of inclination of generatrix relative to horizontal plane does not exceed angle of rest of bulk refractory material.
