FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes alternating blood chambers and exchange medium. Blood chambers incorporate packs connected in parallel and including semi-permeable membranes, screens and support members having coaxial identical inlets and outlets, two lids having inlet and outlet connections to admit and discharge blood and exchange medium and communicating with respective through holes, and sealing member. Apparatus further incorporates tightening and pressing members. Each chamber is provided with three support members enclosed in blood chamber and positioned in between two semi-permeable membranes. Support members enclosed in exchange medium chamber are located in between two screens. Each inlet and outlet in central support member communicates with several narrow through grooves, remaining two support members in each chamber being positioned for contacting central support member and having through closed-type ports to laterally restrict blood and exchange medium flows. Sealing member is flexible edging disposed around periphery of members of packs and inlets and outlets. Packs are pressed against one another by pressing member and secured in between lids by tightening member. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 7 dwg
