FIELD: production of catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method for production of metallocene catalyst with bridge bond provides for (a) reaction of cyclopentadiene or replaced cyclopentadiene with fulvene or replaced fulvene at temperatures from -78 C to room temperature with formation of dicyclopentadiene with bridge bond or replaced dicyclopentadiene and (b) sybsequent reaction of dicyclopentadiene or replaced dicyclopentadiene with bridge bond and metal composition of generat formula MeQ, where Me is a metal of group 4b of Periodic system of elements, Q is halogen with R=4 at temperature from -78 to about 25 C enought for formation of complex dicyclopentadiene with bridge bond, or replaced dicyclopentadiene with mwtal composition to form metallocene with bridge bond.
