FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: installation has bed 1 and feeding mechanism 3 made as truck 4 with movable 5 and fixed 6 centers. Stator 8 with a cutting unit made as bushings set on bearings is mounted on the bed. Cutters with cutting edges disposed mirror-like in relation to each other are fixed on one end of the bushings. Pulleys rotating in the opposite direction are fixed on the other end. The bushings are placed coaxially and their ends with the cutters face the log feed.
