FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has two opposite cylinders wherein bushings 3 are movably mounted. Bushings 3 are provided with heads 4 and bottoms 5. Pistons 6 are received in bushings 3 between heads 4 and bottoms 5 to form under- piston 7 and working chambers 8 of alternative volume. Bushings 3 are rigidly interconnected via piping rod 15 coupled with their bottoms. Pistons 6 are interconnected through rod 14 which is coaxially positioned within piping rod 15. Rods 14 and 15 are coupled with force lever 11 and additional lever correspondingly through a pivoting connection made of cantilevered pin 16 which is secured to each rod perpendicular to their longitudinal axis, and spherical race ball pivot provided on each lever. Pin 16 is positioned within an opening of the race. Rocking of main and additional levers in the opposite directions is converted into rotation of a crankshaft. Owing to main and additional levers are rigid and a distance between rocking axis and axis of the pivot of the connection to the rods in reciprocation is constant pistons 6 and bushings 3 simultaneously performs reverse-rotary motion. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
