FIELD: mechanical engineering; axial-piston machines, mainly axial-piston internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: machine has housing 1, coaxial opposite cylinders 2 with movable sleeves 3 installed inside and connected with heads 4 and pistons 5 connected to each other and placed in bushings 3 to form variable-displacement opposite chambers. Pistons 5 and heads 4 with sleeves 3 move in opposite directions. Movement of pistons 5 is converted into rocking of triangular lever 13 by means of bell-crank 18 and hinged tie-rod 12, and movement of sleeves 3, by means of hinge link 17 coupled with lever 13. Rocking of triangular lever 13 is converted into rotation of crankshaft 8 by means of connecting rod unit 11. Shaft 8 can be installed coaxially with cylinders 2 or in parallel with cylinders.
