CENTRIFUGAL GRINDER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: grinding of granular materials. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal grinder has cylindrical housing 1, charging branch pipe 2 and discharge branch pipe 3, two axially aligned rotors 4 and 5 mounted in housing 1 for rotation in opposite directions. Rotors are mounted one within the other and provided with disks 7, 8, 9, 10 disposed parallel one with respect to the other, fingers 12 secured between disks of outer rotor, packs of hammers 13 pivotally secured on fingers 13, rotor rotating drives 15 and 16. Centrifugal grinder is further provided with decks 14 fixed on housing in spaced relation to packs of hammers 13 of outer rotor 5 between time. Packs of hammers are disposed between edges of outlet branch pipes 3 along perimeter of housing cylindrical surface. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
