METHOD OF MICROARC OXIDATION OF GROUP OF ARTICLES MADE OF METALS AND ALLOYS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2019582 C1

FIELD: electrochemical surface strengthening of metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: two sets of articles are treated simultaneously at symmetric current. Any set may have number of individual articles with different geometrical shapes; sets are formed taking into account that areas under treatment should be equal. Two sets of articles are connected in series by means of electrolyte, when the sets are disposed in the same bath. Current leads of any set are connected directly to output terminals of power supply, made on the base of ferroresonance source, which has power transformer and set of power capacitors connected in parallel. The first plates of the capacitors are connected to one input terminal of industrial network; the second plates are connected to primary windings of transformer; the primary windings of the transformer are connected in parallel. Bath filled with electrolyte is earthed. Purpose of the invention may be achieved only when all the integrity of features of the invention are used. Source is out of service, if there is no serial connection of two sets of articles, or load in form of single set is used.
