FIELD: electrical power engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrode wall of MHD channel has electrodes, bus, power panel located between electrode and bus and dismountable fastening units connecting electrodes to bus. Each fastening unit includes stud, cap nut coming out to fire surface of wall and two nuts embracing bus. One of nuts rests against power panel. Cap nut and electrode are manufactured from materials with same coefficients of linear expansion. Stud is produced from material which coefficient of linear expansion is greater than proper coefficients of electrode and cap nut. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of channel. 2 cl, 3 dwg
