FIELD: three-phase substations (industrial, traction, and those incorporated in power systems); reactive power correction and regulation. SUBSTANCE: corrector has three-phase bridge with cut-off diodes connected into reactor, two converter units, and surge voltage limiting capacitors. Each converter unit has two groups of three cut-off diodes and reactor inserted between them in DC circuit. One group of diodes provides regulation angle α2= α1+Ψ and other group, α3= α1-Ψ, where α1 is three-phase bridge diode regulation angle, value of angle Ψ and relation between DC currents of three-phase bridge and converter units is selected so as to reduce higher harmonic content in corrector input current. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
