FIELD: protection against overload. SUBSTANCE: safety device of roll mill located between pressing unit and cushion of milling roller includes punch, base and rim forming working cavity filled with elastomer. Rim is formed by two interacting rings, one of which is outside and is carried out of brittle or plastic material, other one is inside and is carried out of plastic material. If outside ring is carried out of brittle materials ratio of ultimate resistance against material rupture of outside ring to flow limit of outside ring material must be less of ratio of longitudinal elastic modules of material of outside and inside rings. If outside ring is carried out of plastic material it is provided at least with two sharpened grooves located on outside surface of ring parallel to axis of pressing unit. Installation of plastic ring relative to inside one with tightness is possible. Outside and inside ring is carried out equihigh. EFFECT: improved reliability. 5 cl, 7 dwg
