FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: product: aromatic C8-hydrocarbons are isolated from reforming catalyzates of directly distilled gasoline fractions containing paraffin hydrocarbons-C9 and above, olefin, cycloparaffin and cycloolefin hydrocarbons-C8 and above as impurities by rectification in the presence of separating agent containing toluene, aromatic C9-hydrocarbons and n-octane. Process is carried out at the mass ratio toluene: impurities = (20-120):1, aromatic C9-hydrocarbon:impurities = (5-50): 1 and n-octane:impurities = (2-25):1. The end aromatic hydrocarbons in mixture with aromatic hydrocarbon are isolated in the vat product. Vat product is separated by rectification. The source of aromatic C9-hydrocarbon is n-propylbenzene, or isopropylbenzene, or isomers of trimethylbenzene or their mixture. Method is used in petroleum chemical industry. EFFECT: improved method of isolation. 2 cl, 1 tbl
