FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method consists in low-temperature annealing of zirconium semifinished products (heating temperature of 350-395 C, isothermal holding 1-3 h) in combination with preliminary cold deformation with total degree of 50-90%. Such treatment allows manufacture of products with isotropic mechanical properties featuring optimal level of strength and plastic characteristics. EFFECT: facilitated subsequent complex deformation working, including operations of forging and stamping (stamping, piercing, etc), forge rolling, grinding, polishing (manufacture of spoons, joining of jewelry chains). 2 tbl
