More significant bit a2 and less significant bit b1 of operand A=2a2+a1, more significant bit b2 and less significant bit b1 of operand B=2b2+b1, mode significant bit c2 and less significant bit c1 of operand C=2C2+c1 go to device inputs, where a1,b1,c1,a2,b2,c2∈{0,1} and A,B, C ∈(0,1,2). Two-bit code S=2s2+s1 of the result of multiplication of two numbers A and B followed by modulo 3 addition with number C, that is, S = A.B + C (mod. 3), is shaped across device outputs.
