FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has movement converter. Sequence of cyclical quadrature signals is formed at output of the converter when object shifts. These signals enter electronic interpolator and then into corresponding channels (of adding and subtracting) of count unit in form of count pulse sequence. When measuring raster is used which has reduced value of step or if the step is changed under effect of temperature, when measurement error has positive value, the correction unit is used. The correction unit has to be reversible counter with variable count coefficient, which determines spatial correction cycle being under control of correction code. The correction unit has reversible counter, decoder, multiplexer, differentiating unit and element for reducing value to zero. D-flip-flops provided with a set of logic gates provide blocking of single count pulse only during period of correction, then the circuit returns to initial position. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement due to correction of temperature and multiplicative error of primary movement converter. 1 dwg
