FIELD: electronic engineering; vacuum microelectronics. SUBSTANCE: image indicator has substrate onto which anode electrodes and dielectric layer are disposed. Cathode electrode are made onto the dielectric layer in perpendicular to strip electrodes. Holes for forming operation region onto anode electrodes are made in the places of crosses in cathode electrodes and in dielectric layer. Eminences made of conducting material in form of truncated sphere are disposed onto anode electrodes. Top point of the sphere is disposed lower than surface of the electrode and covered with layer of phosphor. Edges of blades of emitters are made in form of teeth; the edges protrude above the holes in dielectric layer. Tops of teeth of emitters are made on opposite sides of the holes, which are located along the anode electrode. The tops protrude above the anode electrodes for radius of rounding of top of the tooth. Indicator may be made free of conducting eminence.
