FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: waveguide switch has concentrically arranged stator and rotor provided with waveguide channels in the form of ridge waveguides. Diameter of stator and rotor varies in steps. Step plane passes through center of wide walls of ridge waveguides. Step length equals quarter wavelength at medium frequency of working range. Rotor is held tight against stator by means of locking mechanism on plane perpendicular to rotor axis of rotation. EFFECT: high switching speed of heavy-power waveguide lines. 2 cl, 2 dwg
